What is Muafakat Johor Bus?

Muafakat Johor Bus is a free bus service which started from 1st April 2016 with the initiative of the Johor State Government which is operated by Perbadanan Pengangkutan Awam Johor (PAJ). The purpose of the free bus service was to reduce the cost of living of citizens and improve the quality of public transport services to citizens in the already existing routes. Muafakat Johor Bus service routes comprises 15 routes in Iskandar Malaysia region which also includes 4 Local Authorities (Johor Bahru, Johor Bahru Tengah, Pasir Gudang dan Kulai). Muafakat Johor Bus are equipped with Closed Circuit Camera System (CCTV), GPS, Passenger Data Systems and free internet service. Before taking a ride in Bas Muafakat Johor, passengers need to register for Muafakat Johor Card first.

What is Muafakat Johor Card?

Muafakat Johor Card is a card that has been specifically designed for Muafakat Johor Bus passengers to enable them to ride the bus for free. Annual minimun validity will be charged for Muafakat Johor Card, once it is registered. This card cannot be sold to others. The use of Muafakat Johor Card will be upgraded in the future which will serve as an electronic card for cashless transactions. You can use your Malaysian Identity Card (BLUE) for Muafakat Johor Bus ride during the trial period which started from April 1 untill June 3, 2016.

How can I get my Muafakat Johor Card?

For registration card, you will be asked to fill in details of personal information. Such information shall be managed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Any information required or collected is subject to the privacy policy PAJ. PAJ has the right to make any changes to its privacy policy. For registration, you can get the Muafakat Johor Card at the registration counter from March 2016. Please refer to our website paj.com.my from time to time.

How do I use my Muafakat Johor Card?

Muafakat Johor Buspassengers are required to show their Muafakat Johor Card by touching the machine each time when they ride the bus and get off the bus. Any passenger fail to display and touch the Muafakat Johor Card will be terminate from using Muafakat Johor Bus immediately.

How much is Muafakat Johor Card?

Following is a payment for Muafakat Johor Card with a validity period of one year:-

– RM 10.00 for Adult
– Rm5.00 for Elderly (aged 60 old or older), the disabled  OKU) and students (aged 7 – 17 years old)
– Free for children aged below 6 years old.
